The detail on the bosses was especially nice. Donkey Kong Country was the most realistic looking game on the SNES, Conker's Bad Fur Day is by far the most impressive looking game on the N64, and for the time, Diddy Kong Racing looked really good too. The Graphics- If there is one thing Rare is really well known for, it's their graphical quality as for the longest time, their graphics went beyond the standards set by their respective consoles. Also, I'm not gonna compare plot because, well, Diddy Kong was the only one of these two that had one. But while I really love both of these games, my goal today is to determine which one I find better.Īs always, this is opinion-based, but much like my latest Mario and Luigi versus entry, I'm going to cover the gameplay in various sections as opposed to just the gameplay as a whole as there is quite a bit I wanna cover here.
